Wild ride on the Zahmer Kaiser

There is nothing tame about the "Zahmer Kaiser" leisure centre: On one of the best summer toboggan runs in the Tyrol, at Durchholzen on the Walchsee, parents and children race each other on two attractive toboggan runs. They snake their ay over green slopes and meadows at the foot of the Kaiser mountain range and at one point run down parallel to each other for a kilometre. An underpass, a 70 metre long bridge and ten raised banked corners make the ride even more exciting. The sleds are child’s play to use. Those who are still too small can ride on mum or dad’s lap. And then you’re off… into the first corner, the speed building!

Hiking paradise and play park

The Vierer chair lift takes you comfortably to the top. The entrance to the summer toboggan run is at the half-way station of the “Zahmer Kaiser” cable cars, which belong to the Austrian summer toboggan runs "awarded" a seal of quality. You can also ride the chair lift farther to the Berghof Alpine inn, and from them go on great hikes on well-maintained trails. On the way, enjoy a wonderful view of the Walchsee and the imposing peaks of the Kaiser range. Another children’s paradise is located at the valley station of the cable car, namely a play park with skydive, luna-loop, nautic jet, a play town, an adventure playground and a simulator that whisks kids away into the world of fantasy. You can bet this great day won’t come to an end!

The price of one ascent on the Walchsee Summer Toboggan Run includes the ride to the half-way station and back, including use of the toboggan run. The price for one ascent and descent includes the chairlift ride to the upper station and back. With a 6-block ticket, families can either ride six times to the upper station, or six times to the half-way station and back.
